Sunil Bhopal won the prize for best research presentation at the Academic Paediatrics Association of Great Britain and Ireland Annual Meeting in Dublin. His presentation described SPRING and the potential contribution of early life stress to understanding the SPRING causal pathway.

Sunil Bhopal presented some background to SPRING at “Celebrating our Success: Fellows Showcase” which was held during LSHTM week and attended by staff and students from across the school, including the Director Peter Piot and Deputy Director & Provost, Anne Mills.

Bayley’s Scale for Infant Development III (BSID III) Training – The London & India teams attended training simultaneously on the BSIDIII.
Betty Kirkwood, Bilal Avan and Sunil Bhopal, in London and Gauri Divan, Divya Kumar and Deepali Verma in India. This training is supporting the development of our primary outcome measures in the India trial. Assessments will begin in early 2017.
